300DMG-Segment did not meet ANSI X12 Syntax requirements. Rule P0102 (elements 01 and 02 must both be present if either of them is present) was not present

When this error is accompanied by another error below it, refer to the second error for rejection reason.

Example:

300    DMG-Segment did not meet ANSI X12 Syntax requirements. Rule P0102 (elements 01 and 02 must both be present if either of them is present) was not present

304 DMG_02-Required element #02 (Subscriber Birth Date) is not present

Go to patient coverage, click on responsibly party button to fix the subscribers date of birth.

 

304 DMG 01-Required element #01 (Date Time Period Format Qualifier) is not present This automatically fills in when subscriber date of birth completed

 

304    DMG_02- Required element #02 (Other Insured Birth Date) is not present. Go to patient coverage, click next insurance, enter date of birth for the secondary insurance, and also check to make sure date of birth is in under responsible party.

 

305 Required segment 'DMG' (SUBSCRIBER DEMOGRAPHIC INFORMATION) is not present. The details for this segment can be found on page #342 of the ANSI specification. More often then not it�s the subscribers birth date that is missing.

 

PRV Error Codes

 

PRV_03- Required element #03(Provider Taxonomy Code) is not present. Missing Provider Taxonomy code in provider or referring provider.
